Tight Winding Slat with Wide Coverage Width

The Ultra-Protect has a large coverage width (1.61 inch) and narrow nominal thickness (0.33 inch), which means that it winds up very tightly and is best suited for use in small roller shutter boxes (Ø 7.25 inch barrel diameter with a curtain height of 8.25 ft). The extremely durable roll shutter slat with low weight (0.76 lb/ft²) fulfills wind load values of resistance class 3 with element widths up to 9.5 ft.

Security Rollshutter Slat

The foam filling, strengthened with melamin resin, gives the Ultra-Secure its excellent bending strength and stability. With a coverage width of 37 mm and a nominal thickness of 9.5 mm the slat is tested and approved up to resistance class RC 2 in accordance with DIN 1627. The Ultra-Secure has also been awarded hail class 7.

EXTRUDED ALUMINUM SLATS

The Ultra-Guard Shutters are specifically designed to provide an additional level of deterrence to compliment any existing security measures to meet your commercial needs.  Thick gauge, extruded aluminum slats with a 59mm slat face are available in Solid, Grid and Rectangle designs and can be combined in any formation dependent on the specified needs of the commercial application. Stainless Steel End Retention provides greater strength to enable low deflection over large widths.  Presently, these high deterrence shutters are silver with other colors available on special order.  For commercial use, with or without display applications, the Ultra-Guard Shutter is an ideal fit!
